Age Divisions & Development Focus
Grades K–2 (Foundational Play)
Focus: Learning the basic fundamentals of playing flag football, building body coordination, and having fun in a low-pressure, supportive environment.
Grades 3–5 (Skill Building)
Focus: Developing positional skills, understanding basic spatial awareness on the field, teamwork, and introducing core rules through active, friendly play.
Grades 6–8 (Intermediate Development)
Focus: Refining positional roles, advancing play mechanics, communication, and sportsmanship as games become slightly faster-paced.
Grades 9–12 (Recreational or Competitive)
Focus: Advancing skill development, running structured play schemes, and executing strategies. Divisions range from casual recreational play for beginners to emerging skilled players, as well as competitive tiers for more advanced skilled players looking for a higher-intensity game.
No matter the age/grade, we have divisions to fit all skill levels in a fun, safe, and energetic environment.

We are dedicated to expanding access to flag football across the Bay State. If you are interested in supporting the league, we have sponsorships available. Your support will be featured prominently on our website, materials, and banners at games.
To ensure that every youth who wants to participate is able to do so regardless of finances, the league would like to make scholarships available for those in financial need. If you are interested in donating to our scholarship fund, please let us know.
